Not yet confirmed in an official source

The 2010 Reglamento requires notifying the start of 'apartamento turístico' activity to the Consejería de Turismo (Tourism Department), submitting identity documents, proof of ownership or lease, a municipal opening license, civil liability insurance, a list of facilities with capacity, and internal house rules — but no specific registry or dedicated procedure for a 'vivienda de uso turística' as such was confirmed to exist.

No autonomous "vivienda de uso turística" (VUT) figure was confirmed for Ceuta. Its only located framework, the Reglamento de Turismo of 30 Nov 2010, regulates 'apartamentos turísticos' (art. 71: properties with lodging units equipped for food storage, preparation, and consumption), with no category equivalent to the VUT/private-home-rental figure that most regions have.
