  • Cantabria raised its fines for illegal tourist rentals by 150% (up to €75,000 for very serious infractions) via the 2025 Ley de Medidas Fiscales y Administrativas. In addition, VUTs registered before April 3, 2025 had to file an updated declaración responsable by March 24, 2026 under Decreto 50/2025, or risk losing their registration.
